Volunteers & Internships – Under construction

While civil society organizations have their full time professional and technical staffs, the contribution made by volunteers often serves to enrich and improve the development of the Foundation.

Any volunteer agreeing to work for  Friends of Poder Ciudadano automatically assumes a level of confidentiality regarding what they may communicate to the public regarding the organization.

Voluntary commitment to service provides academic and institutional experience. As a civic practice, it nurtures not only the organization in which the person is involved but also, as a whole, the society in which the organization is working.

When voluntary work becomes a regular and consistent activity, it increases the social capital and the quality of the work being done.

There is a wide range of activities in which volunteers can engage. The content of the work ultimately depends on the projects available, as well as the volunteer's personal goals and preferences. The only critical requirement is the desire to do social work and to assist in the development of the organization and its various projects and programs.
