Based in Washington D.C. , Friends of Poder Ciudadano, Inc., is an independent, non-profit organization, designed to support non-partisan citizen education and involvement in civil affairs in Argentina .

Friends of Poder Ciudadano, Inc., will, at its discretion, provide funds to Fundación Poder Ciudadano for projects that are consistent with these goals. Fundación Poder Ciudadano is a non-profit, non-partisan organization located in Argentina. Its mission is to generate civic information and collective action. For the last fifteen years it has been developing programs committed to raising democracy awareness, democratizing justice, controlling corruption, improving political representation, education, and empowering citizens (for more information, see www.poderciudadano.org ).

Friends of Poder Ciudadano, Inc., has been recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Friends of Poder Ciudadano, Inc., are therefore tax-deductible.
